The home of password manager and encryption research studies.

A password manager is a computer program that stores and manages passwords for an internet user. It can be built in or provided as an extension for certain web browsers.

Some people use a password manager because it eliminates the need to memorize over 100 passwords without the security risk of reusing the same password (which compromises all accounts). However, there are some issues with ensuring the safety of internet users who do use password managers. Some password managers even measure the strength of passwords or detect data leaks

While password managers can detect data leaks and check to see if password managers are weak, there is a major issue with the current encryption of the AES-256 algorithm used by most password managers. This blog discusses research studies and reports on password managers, their benefits and risks, and how their encryption methods can be improved.
